Animal Control

Currently, Citizens of Lafayette can report Stray Animals or Animal Abuse cases.

For stray animal, please report whether it's stray livestock or a stray dog.  There is no leashing law for cats in Lafayette, so stray cats can't be reported via this service.

Remember than in order for us to serve animal abuse cases, we appreciate as much detail as possible and may need your contact info if we are to pursue legal action.
